Yes I would have done the same, at 1st it looked like it was a 6 speed the way it shifted

That's not a 6 speed? Sounds like it is and the way the car leans forward when it shifts looks like it's a manual too.

I thought it was from the way it traveled down the track but no 6 speed has pulled those numbers.

I hear ya.

I think this is gonna be first manual to get that number. If it turns out to be a manual then that dude had a perfect launch.

I pulled over a guy in a 2015 SRT8 Challenger last night (more than doubling the speed limit). So I tell him how cool his car is, and he says yeah its the Hellcat. Well I look and there is a 392 badge instead of a hellcat badge, and it has the wrong hood. So I tell him sorry bud but its a 392 SRT8 not a hellcat. He insists that he ordered it a year ago and its a 707 horsepower hellcat. I ask him to pop the hood, and low and behold.... Its just a 392 no blower. I didn't want to burst his bubble and just let him drive away thinking he had a hellcat. Hope he didn't pay for a hellcat lol!

he was probably just trying to show off, assuming you didn't know what you were talking about.

I've seen them around my area in the car carriers being delivered but none on the streets being driven yet!

I spoke to one of the truck drivers driving a car carrier with 3 hellcats on it. All he kept saying was "you have to hear it !!!" Hahahahha.

Can't wait till the car shows this summer so I can take a real close look at them.

Dang , you messed up the best part because I would've love to see what he would've said when you had told him that his car doesn't have a blower. Maybe, would've help the guy out too because what if he really did think it was a Hellcat or the dealer told him that ?
