Haley, from a fellow Hoosier, good luck with your sale. I am the President of a credit union and wanted to supply you with some numbers from the NADA Used Car Guide.

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT2 - $9,925.00 Retail
$6,500.00 Average Trade
$7,325.00 Clean Trade

These are based on the options you have listed less deduction for mileage.
If you need anything else, let me know.

Also, if you bought new you can describe as "1 owner".

Good luck!

thank you! my ex boyfriend has an NADA book too, but i was hoping to not have to call him. so thank you for the info! so i suppose i'm not TOO far off base then with my reserve i set on it. like i said, i know i'm not a dealer, but i don't see any reason why i can't at least ask for that... it's less than the retail price is that you have listed!!!

by the way, if you don't mind me asking... where in indiana are you from???

Word of advice from someone that has bought and sold alot of cars on eBay - add a buy it now price to your listing.

Alot of people dont like trying to guess what you are going to sell the car at - also many people such as myself just want to buy outright, we are not going to wait around for an auction to end and bid against an unknown number.

Also, do not make the biggest mistake anyone selling a car on eBay could make - if people ask you the reserve, TELL THEM WHAT IT IS. There is no larger mistake anyone could make when selling a car than to not tell an interested person how much they want for it. A reserve is to protect your investment, not a tool to generate a higher sale price. When you order a new car, does the salesman tell you to just make your best offer and he will decide if he will accept it? Do you go to a restuarant and there are no prices on the menu and you tell the waitress what you are willing to pay and for her to decide if she will accept it?

UGH, my ad looks STUPID now. i didn't realize that you couldn't edit it once it has bids so i didn't really know what i was doing when i added the keyless entry... so now it looks like i put the description twice... the second one has the new info but people are just going to think i'm a moron now LOL!

It's OK if your listing has mistakes in it. Makes it look more human like a real person made the listing, not some big conglomerate of a dealership.

People like to buy cars on ebay from real people, not from dealers as much... generally speaking.

Good luck with your sale and if you need a Camaro, I might be able to help

We are just north of Grand Rapids. Not far away at all!

I have a couple of cars that are in the process already that are available. Let me know what you want...I might already have it on the way in.

Good luck with the sale!
