I really wasn't trying to do it to spite her. I wanted a Camaro and I wasn't backing down. It just happened to piss her off. She also got mad when I told her I was moving to Vegas and she didn't talk to me for 2 months. Kind in mind I was already living in SC and on my own for that last 5 years.

When I went to get my Camaro my dad tried to get me to look at trucks (no thanks). My mom was worried I'd crash it but didn't tell me no. Once she saw it she thought it was really nice though. But won't be too happy after this weekend lol

I do not understand in the least why parents/spouses get upset when someone buys a car like a Camaro/Challenger/Mustang.

It's a long story haha. It was pretty sweet ordering a car to how I wanted it. The wait however was god awful haha.

Ordering a car is cool, especially if the company in question (I know Dodge does this) puts "Built Especially for *your name*". That's one of those things that makes an emotional tie to your car, because it was built for YOU, not anyone, but YOU. It started its life down the line intended only for you.

That's pretty cool, IMO.
