Oh. Drove a V6 Camaro again today for the first time in over a year now (since I got rid of mine). I have to honestly admit, they are still really fun to drive, even after having my 1LE all this time.

Looks good without the letters shire would be easier than cleaning between the "camaro" lettering now, but then again the chrome looks good too. Now that you wash it yourself here's some tips...having a black car water tends to dry on it pretty quick in the sun and in unfortunate situations will etch the clearcoat. Get up at 6 in the morning and wash when it's cool and cloudy still or late in the evening. Wash with extra soap and do a 2 bucket wash. Dry with a good microfiber or waffle weave, use an electric leafblower first btw! Oh yeah and don't piss your neighbors off they may cut their grass when your 1/2 way done drying... I washed mine yesterday too and had to finish drying in the garage! Damn bastards!!!!

Anyone know how loud the Kooks Street Sleeper exhaust is? Has mufflers that are roughly the same size as the magnaflows I was going to have welded in. The videos I have watched make it seem fairly quiet. Found one locally but trying to see if anyone has heard it before in person...

I honestly don't care all that much about the swirls. It doesn't bother me much. Next Camaro I get, definitely won't be black. Too much of a pain too keep up. And kinda hard to when you're in college. But yeah, 6am to wash my car, no thanks, I'll stick to evening time. And I have bokoo amounts of microfiber towels I keep in a box in my trunk.

Today was playtime... Trans tune is done. Gotta order bigger injectors. Apparently up top I'm pushing 90% duty cycle.. Guess it likes to drink fuel.

+1 with the trunk part! Lol you never know when it will start to drizzle and your miles away from the safety of your garage, especially after you just washed it.

I tell myself every time I bust my ass washing it... "Self, the next car I get will NOT be a black one." But I can assure you I will be rolling off the lot in a black 4 series.

I've never driven a v6 Camaro lol. I think it would feel weird to me.

They have a fun amount of midrange, almost like a tiny turbo kicking in at 3k rpm because of the VVT, but super flat on the bottom end obv.

Watched a video of one of the boosted members here tracking with a Zl1 and hanging around his heels the whole time.
