That is a fact!

Imagine how much cheating they have got away with without anyone catching them.........they are a disgrace to the NFL and to organized sports.

True.

And Mark McGuire and Sosa and Bonds will always be seen as big hitters. The 'Elite' who shun them from the hall of fame do not matter. Most people don't give a shit about that. If you ask me, the best home run hitter ever is Barry Bonds. The guy who was intentinoally walked with the bases empty. hahaha

So then is Bill Cowher? John Gruden? And others who have all but admmited that they have done shady things that was the norm before the rules came in? They've all laughed at what they used to do before and even after rule changes.

You should say "Because They Got Caught" instead.

Doesn't matter. He's still the greatest home run threat to ever play.

Roids? Yup.

Doesn't change the fact he'll always be remembered for those homers.

that's a bit important, isn't it? just because something used to be common practice and not against the rule, doesn't mean it's ok to continue those practices when rules are put in place. probably the reason those rules were put in, in the first place. also, no matter how small the advantage is, rules are put in place to keep the playing field neutral besides home field crowds.

Well that's what I'm saying. They would still continue to do those things even after the rules were put in. The eye wink and everyone is doing it anyway rules. Point is that those things do exist.

That article I posted said that they do. A uniformed referee has them the whole time except a few minutes before the game when they give them to the ball boys. AND at half time. They literally would have to deflate/inflate/deflate/inflate to get them 2 pounds low ON THE FIELD in front of everyone.

Doesn't make sense.

I think something could have happened by mistake. And it could have been intentional. We will probably never know.

This article.

Isn't PEDS now against the rules and have a much bigger effect on the games then taping the other teams sideline signals from the wrong location ( you are allowed to tape but only from specific locations) and a slightly under inflated balls (that have yet to be determined who has done it). Yet we don't get all this outrage about the guys the fail these test. Hell they allow you to fail in the off season with no suspension you just go into the undisclosed drug program and it doesn't count as a first strike its a wink wink just do your roids in the off season program.

To put those in car terms one is a parking ticket for parking in a ?loading zone? ?handicap spot? its the wrong spot and technically illegal but its a legal act just in the wrong spot. Other is Like Speeding, doing 75.4 mph in a 65 mph zone will you get a ticket maybe (repeat offender like pats sure will) but I wouldnt call those people a criminal.

Ok, so if you've been a fan for so long, why didn't you bail out during almost the whole pats franchise before the new millennium? because they've been on the bottom looking up at the dolphins for nearly 3 decades before they became relevant...
