When it's cold it's harder to tell. I liked either a smaller ball or a slightly deflated ball when I was young just tossing a ball around. But when it was freezing cold it didn't matter.

it's just flat out harder to feel anything when it's that cold and wet.

i'm not sure if people think it was freezing weather because it's in Foxboro, but the game started at low 50's and finished in the upper 40's. even if it was raining, it's still not that cold.

Gronk had ice slush from the rain on his jersey.

They were not measured. Real thorough investigation huh? I would have thought they'd have done that.

Are you sure they were not measured? That doesn't make sense. The NFL is a little more thorough than that.

Well of all the articles I searched yesterday I found only one reference to the Colts balls and it was only speculated.

The Patriots balls were taken at halftime and measured. So if the Colts balls were not measured when the Pats balls were then it would mean nothing to go back and get them the next day.

I looked specifically for that.

Most people that was one of their first questions. Yet nobody reported it either way. Tells me that they were not measured.

I'll say it again, the Pats won that game cheating or not.

The problem is all the scandalous stuff that goes on around this team. There are too many "gates" associated with the Patriots. The entire Bellicheck era is marred by this stuff.

Kinda like how when people look back at the Raiders run back on the day. They always say they were a dirty team. The Pats are always going to be known as cheaters.

not sure what report, but i'm thinking some kind of an official report that we haven't seen...I don't know, but there is this

Quote:
ESPN Sports Radio 810 in Kansas City reported that the Patriots' footballs were tested at the half, reinflated at that time when they were found to be low, then put back in play for the second half, and then tested again after the game. The report did not reveal the results of the test following the game. All of the balls the Colts used met standards, according to the report.

If I could read where they said that I have no problem, but again I've read articles saying that the referees measured the Pats footballs.

Here is a good article to read.

I believe it was something that went wrong somewhere else. I do not believe that they take this much of a chance over something that gives them a minimal advantage at best.

Spygate set the tone. Hell even the Ravens accused them of cheating. Everyone will as long as they kick everyones asses.

It'll be the same for the Cheatriots...

Wonder what report. This is a radio station in Kansas City. Weird.

But even so, it makes no sense. It would be found out immediately. And it was.
