Oh yeah live off route 3 and I cut across route 44 same thing. you can see the salt burn on the pine trees on the side of the roads on a bad year.

I actually use my mirrors and on the rare occasion that someone is closing in on me ,I pull to right lane and let them go past me . If I can't pull down due to traffic I ignore them until I can.
For all of you people that do the windshield washer trick I say thanks, I have gotten more than one free windshield cleaning in my time. Hint for you guys water or windshield cleaner doesn't hurt me....just move out of the way. If you only drive at no more than the speed limit thats fine but some of us go over that limit on a regular basis and don't need you blocking the road. Just move over and we will be out of your life in no time with no drama.
If you look in front of you and there is nobody there, then look behind you and there is a line of cars..... you are the problem,move over to let traffic pass. Thank you.

Let them pass every time. You don't know why they are tailgating or what their story or reason could be.
You don't want to be the one who prevents someone from reaching their dying relative. By pulling out of the way, you remain in control, otherwise, they control you.

Tailgaters dont bother me....its the ASS HAT that gets in the left lane and wanna drive like they are an 80 year old sunday school teacher. There IS a minimum speed limit too ya know! And last time i checked the left lane was for faster traffic and slower traffic moves to the right. If you fit in the catagory of anything i mentioned you need to choke yaself.....no with MY hands NUMBNUTS!!!!!

I pull over and let them pass. I'm not so weak minded nor easily incited by people with issues that I have to respond aggressively or with reckless disregard for the law and safety of others.

i only do this with my daily driver, never with the camaro, but, i pull the emergency brake. no brake lights come on, wakes them up real fast!!
