Enjoy your one and done Superbowl Ring...take those front running, home cooking, collection of misfits out of Seattle....and they ain't nuttin special. Revis and Browner will lock up your deep threat ,man on man...then we can load the box for Lynch. We're healthy this year and we already had our rock fight with the Ravens after a 2 week layoff ...the rust is off and WHATS YAH GONNA DO WHEN TB12 THROWS ALL OVER YOU ?? BROTHER !!!! GO PATRIOTS .

Russell Wilson is now the QB with the highest QB Rating in the playoffs of ANY QB that has met the minimum play requirements. Ahead of Aaron Rodgers. Ahead of Brady. Ahead of Brees. Call him a game manager, please. When Carolina (one of the top D's in the league) tried to stop Lynch, Wilson had 3 TD's, no INT's and basically was the game MVP (Or Kam). Please...keep underestimating him. I'm quite happy with him as our QB.

As a side note to my previous post, I then proceeded to watch Teddy Bruschi on NFL Network talking about the same thing, and talking about how similar Brady's and Wilson's paths have been so far. And, HE mentioned the above stat.
Will it be 10-0 after this week? We shall see.

There are a lot great players on that team. Wilson may have the same problem Brady has after first few years when everyone needs to get paid its hard to keep as much talent on the roster and the coaching staff stable. Free agency makes longevity very hard to achieve. I think today Aaron Rodgers is the best qb in the game but if I were picking a qb to start a team I take Wilson because I think he is number 2 and 5 years younger.

We do have most of our big name talant locked up though. Sherman, Kam, ET3, Bennett, and Avril have been locked up for the foreseeable future. Wilson and Wagner are expected to get contracts this off-season. We may lose Wright to free agancy. Losing Harvin helps us though, as it might have been hard to keep Wagz otherwise. And, salary cap goes up all the time. Regardless of what happens this year, we aren't really in a "win at all costs" mode (like Denver was, for example). Schneider has done a wonderful job at keeping the cap under control...and he seems to be a master at getting good talent in later rounds or even undrafted. Lots of similarities to New England as far as that goes. Also, for anyone already talking NE/Seattle Super Bowl...we still have to get through this weeks games. Indy could take New England, and it's probably more of a likelihood than Seattle getting beaten. Both could happen though, so let's save the smack talk until something like that happens. Until then, I leave you with this video of Wilson being a game manager. I seem to recall the Patriots losing that game.
