Because all the ones that look like regular cars don't sell. People who want EVs tend to want everyone to know that they're driving an EV. Same thing happens with hybrids.

In this case, it'd be the same as Peenis Envy. Real car guys/gals don't go for this sort of thing.

Or maybe it's "Prego"?...Prius complex + Ego = Prego.

Right direction it seems for an electric car, but this looks more like it's something more developed for city folks. Affordability will be the key.

Some like the image.

there are more or less 70 celebrities that we've spotted driving a Prius but we'd guess that we've only seen a fraction...
Aside from Rachel Bilson who parades her Prius on every corner of Hollywood, there are other actresses who own and drive this car. For starters, Emily Blunt, heavy-hitters Cameron Diaz, Julianne Moore, Emily Deschanel and Demi Moore all own one. Others include Sophie Monk, british actress Carey Mulligan, Natalie Portman, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Selma Hayek and Ally McBeal's Calista Flockhart...
The Bolt's range and price make it sound like a legitimate commuter car. I hope GM does well with this so I can continue driving a rear drive V8 every day

Range is the big one (more than double), and the extra interior space will be nice, too.

meh.. not something I would want.. Leaf and i3 competitor for sure, but too small and too ugly for my taste, all three of them actually.

I want an EV that looks like a regular car, gets at least 200 - 250 mile range, which is what I get in my Camaro.

don't want a lunch box, don't want a bright colored POS that stands out like a blond at a brunette convention, and I surely don't want something that will crumble into a paper weight when it gets rear ended by the dumbass behind me texting in their 5,000 pound SUV.

Bigger, more EV range, won't be a compliance car.
