Its def a Z06. Doesnt have the aero package or the z07 option. This looks like a base Z06. It probably is a manual, just because there are so few z06 autos out right now due to constraints. The auto is the faster car, but this is definitely driver error. Couldnt have been in the right gear or they must've rolled from a really weird speed. It is definitely a Z06 though, the scoop in front of the rear tire, Z06 emblems, black corvette flags, black taillights, wheels, and this car is actually 3 inches wider than the stingray and you can tell that by how far the taillights are from the cross flags on the back bumper.

There is more to street racing than horsepower. As some has said weight is an issue. rear gears plays a big issue. if the vette is an auto it has 3:42's, a 7 speed zo6 I think has 3:73's, The Hellcat has 3:90's. depending what gear they were in when they punched it, determines how quick the car would pull. This video proves nothing. if you want to see how different engineering affects 1/4 mile run Watch on YouTube, Motor Trends Greatest drag race ever 1,2 & 3. it will open your eye's. In fact watch worlds greatest drag race #4 a new z/28 is in it.

So many factors involved here. Its just some random youtube video. Couldnt care less. Dodge fanboys are serious trolls in the comments tho. Hilarious. The c7z06 now has the record at VIR and in the comments some guys claim yo know the drivers and the c7 did 10.9 in QM and thellcat was 12+.

Lets see who's the fastest in a straight line, which is what the Hellcats for. Different strokes for different folks.

From a standing start on a strip or on a track the Z06 runs away from the Hellcat everytime.
Put drag radials on both, and I wouldn't be so sure. I don't know why everyone's in disbelief that this could happen. Remember, the ZO6's main purpose is going *around* a track, and a Hellcats is going is going fast in a straight line. They both excel in their intended purposes.

Its hard to believe because the hellcat has shitty tires and almost 900+ lbs heavier. Thats a LOT of weight...and the tires...god the difference in tires....u get the right driver and it could go either way. Not saying the hellcat should lose evetytime. It just wont win all the time. Its a silly feud and the dodge guys are trolling away lile the hellcat is the second coming of jesus. Show a lottle modesty right?

You're right, because the GM guys haven't been hailing the Z06 as touched by Christ Himself.

So it put on Drag Radials only and magically picks up 7 mph? Plus the difference in that 60 ft time...

The DR'd car also had 110(?) race fuel in it. It's entirely possible that due to the race fuel it's preventing a lot of KR and isn't pulling as much timing.
