Not that I did not really like the V8 but for my daily commute of 15 miles each way, generally in bumper to bumper traffic, and that I don't race anymore, the V6 was just right.

This has 50 more horse than my Grand Prix GTP (V6 factory super-charger) and before I drove the V6 Camaro I was a little worried that without the super-charger my GTP has it might be wimpy out of the hole, it was anything but that.

I had test driven one of the Mustangs with about the same HP as my GTP and it was a little weak out of the hole and I hate that, makes it hard to get on the freeway in a respectable way

So the V8 guys can dis me all they want (not that you would) but I would think on here of all places there would be a little respect for all Camaro buyers. So far no one has made any direct comments to me.

Dealer had it again today and I pick it up later. No surprize, they didn't find anything. GM said they have to look further into it. As if we didn't know that.

Try it in Jersery, have days that just because it rained a little it took 3 hours to get home.

But in general I would agree, my prior commute was 70 miles each way and man does the rack up the miles on the car in a hurry.

That is the understatement of the year! This waiting is just nuts, everyone who gets theirs says it is worth the wait, I sure hope so.

yeah it doesn't really matter to me what engine is in somebody else car, just i think it's ridiculous when somebody asks for a reason to get a v8 and people say simple statements like you can't beat the torque or no replacement for displacement

they start running around saying oh i guess i'm stupid for getting the 6, i'm just loser 6 owner and crap like that

big deal your the one driving it the others aren't so why in the hell does it affect you what others say

and i really don't think v6 owners get treated badly around here(except for a few young idiots that are beast behind a keyboard) they just take it to personal, when in no way does it matter. there all welcomed here by the majority which are true enthusiast or gear heads. so imo they need to just take there valium and have a good time without putting a negative spin in a thread where most don't care how you feel about it
