That's awesome. Congrats! That's an awesome transformation!

I've got some vids of Monique at CF to post just with the business I am in (jewelry) not much time this time of year.

But it's very neat to watch her do things she's never done before, like power cleans, and watch her progress just over one class. Seeing her form improve, the weight she moves, etc.

Open starts in about 9 weeks. She's only a month in and probably won't qualify for the actual games but it will give us a good starting point and show us what she needs to improve on over the next year.

Leg day this evening and was feeling great. Still working towards an 800lb squat. Think next week I will at least attempt it and see how it feels.

800 Pounds! Wow, that's seriously heavy. Very very impressive. Good luck.

2015 will be the year! You must be a young man, heavy lifting doesn't seem wise for Old guys. Ya just don't recover and much easier to permanently do damage. I can't believe my husband can bench 300, that's pretty impressive for an Old Fart whom never really tried lifting heavy. He just lifts to keep in shape.

With 800 pound squat, what do you bench? Just curious.

ugh, first of the year, the worst time for the regulars at the gym. The crowds, the wanna-be's, the no-cluers, all show up for 3 months. The only time of the year, it's a pain to get in a good workout due to all the 'new' members wanting to give it a try, one more time. I try to be polite and work in and asked when they will be done with equipment. I have no time for those that stand around and chit-chat.

But when they work my last nerve, I am not so polite. I may say "you are done with that". They look at me like I was asking a question, when in fact, I was making a statement.

I am all for people wanting to improve their health, wanting to workout, but if you are going to make that commitment, then make it and don't 'half-ass' it.

Okay, new job started, holidays past, now time to get back into shape & drop these pounds I have put on. Okay, I knew I had put on a good bit of weight as I can't wear most of my pants & the rest of them are too tight.......but I refuse to buy bigger ones; just need to lose the weight. So today mid-day at work & closed my door & tried a 10 min HIIT routine I found on-line. It was hard amd it kicked my butt, but I made it through. After I finished, I had the first exercise induced asthma attack I have had in years. I had trained myself to the point I did not need my inhalers anymore as I had no symptoms other than getting winded fairly easily. Sooooooooooo, of course I did not have an inhaler with me; not sure I even still have one. If not, I may need to get them again until I get myself back in shape.

Yesterday I did a little dance/aerobic exercise, weight training & floor exercises yesterday. I am not sore but that usually does not hit me until the second day. After I had done that 10 minute HIIT routine at work which triggered the first exercise induced asthma attack I have had in years I realized that not only have I put on all this weight, I have let my lungs & airways suffer. Time to get serious again. So now I am going to get back on track with my food intake and exercise with the goal of being back in shape in time for the C5 Fest.
