This is a very interesting video, I always did like the mythbusters. The line "Chemically strengthened glass measuring a mere half-millimeter in thickness can be formed into a laminate that reduces the weight of a car windshield by as much as a third, all without sacrificing toughness. Impact resistance can actually improve by nearly 40 percent." is very intriguing

weight savings helps acceleration, and weight savings at a high center of gravity usually helps cornering. Love the way the myth busters can bring science to the masses with visual aids and good comparisons to make it easy to understand.

Look at it after a few years. It looks sandblasted. The sun will do that.

Do you wonder why iPhone users change phones so often?
It kept the original glass on the outside, but the Gorilla Glass on the inside, away from the elements.

Because Apple forces us to by changing their OS and not supporting older phones.

Ding ding ding ding!

I learned this when I upgraded my iPhone 3G to the 4.0.0 operating system. BOY was that a big mistake. The phone was instantly 50% slower. Why? Slopping programming? Nah. They make your phone slower (or don't care to optimize) because they know you'll just buy another one.

But some of us see through these lies and go the Nexus route. Hehe.

Back to topic!
