Most cops I meet are cool like that, the ones who are not I just play nice then explain myself to a judge.

What did you do? Drop to 3rd, punch it, and hit everyone with the sonic boom? It's my favorite maneuver.

Dropping to 3rd at highway speed with a Rev match and punching it is an awesome sound! I didn't have much of a sonic boom back then, no money for mods! I was in Montgomery AL headed for Pensacola in a construction zone. I only dropped 1(should have dropped down 2)

And so they should be held accountable. Actions like this... are asking for trouble... Anyone licensed to carry and pulls this move... does not deserve to have a carry permit.

He / They / Whoever they were .. were probably just admiring the car.. The looks and stares, we can handle with a waive and a thumbs-up, a smile or a nod... The following turn for turn will be handled differently. WOT

I do it in a ZL1, especially my last one, and if you keep an eye on people in the car next to you for just a second as you pass they practically jump out of their own seats.

On day two of owning my 1LE my wife and I on a small cruise. I noticed a vett following me thru a couple of turns. I drove thru the hood and he followed from a distance. My wife was a little concerned but i was quite pleased.

Long story short, he followed me home and hopped out and was oogling and loving my car. Come to find out he is a near neighbor and also a track trainer at Miller. He invited me out for some runs but i told him the car isnt broken in yet.

Made a friend, and made me smile.
