Thinking about getting a silverado te only thing is that I hear a lot of bad comments on the vortech is it really not much of a good engine on the silverados or is there another engine they come out with ??

What year? The vortech heads are a good performer.

They are great engines. Basically the same as ours except they have iron blocks. The new 6.2 engines in the silverado/sierra/tahoe/etc are awesome engines
