New Member from East Texas

Definitely not new to the Chevy family or Camaro family but I just recently bought a standard 2010 2SS on November 21st. My first car was a standard 1989 RS.

16 year-old me with my '89 RS:

Me now with my 2010 2SS:

I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and going to Camaro5 Fest.

Nice SS! Lots of folks in Texas to hang with. Keeping it stock or going to mod?

Welcome and enjoy the ride. Gen 5's are awesome...

My first was a first gen '68 years ago

You know, I'm not sure yet. I definitely want to put an exhaust and cool air intake in her but I haven't decided yet.

The '68/'69 Camaros are my absolute favorite. Definitely a dream car I have always wanted.

I can relate. I was 14 when I bought it from a neighbor for $145. He thought the transmission was out. Just needed fluid. Kick myself often for selling it after I got married (thought I wouldn't want it ). Keep the dream. They're worth it...

Glamazon, CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
