I hope you are able to recover everything you lost in this, not just the items, but your faith. Please don't give up your faith or hope in people. There is good out there, just look at our forums, we all care about each other especially in a time of need. Keep venting, if needed, we will all be here for you.

Thanks Ladies, I didn't make it down there today. A neighbor said he'd go down with me to show me where it was and figure out where the pawn shop(s) are. I called him a few minutes ago and his response was "you wouldn't go into the woods with me with flashlights to see the pack of coyotes but you want to go to that part of town at this hour?" He also told me "DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAMARO DOWN THERE" Says thats where all the local shootings take place. Great. Guess I'll be driving the truck and invoking my 2nd amendment rights tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your losses.

I am in the business of dealing with people with these traits. It sounds like he has been a thorn in the side of his family and such. You would be amazed at how much info you can get for a couple of benjamins in the hands of a pissed off in-law. Brother or sister etc. They will sometimes meet with the scum and call when they are there. Then the cops can just show up..... I love it when karma comes a calling.

No not really. Had to shop all around town and the Internet trying to come up with values for the police and insurance. What a pain. I'd recommend again that people get their better stuff insured on their homeowners policy. We will from now on
