Got the TIX for the Aug 16th Race at MIS - WHO'S GOING?

Taking the family to MIS for the Sprint race on Sunday....I usually get there early....WHO'S GOING?

Since I have family "in tow" I can make the rounds in Michigan for other things....but I will be rocking at MIS!

Per Team Chevy, this is what they have going on:

We will have a display that will feature some of the latest product - and it usually includes a Camaro. And we will have one of the RCR pit crews for an autograph session on Sunday... you can always stop by the display, fill out a survey and get a Team Chevy t-shirt!

Scott, YOU ROCK, IMHO!!!!....LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, NASCAR!!!!!!!!!!!!...(and no, forum friends, I don't look like that woman in the post above standing in front of the 24 car...lol..)

Have a blast and take a TON of photos and if you don't already belong to my NASCAR Social Group on this forum, join and share any photos of anything NASCAR you have...

You are so lucky...it should be a great race...who is your favorite driver???...mine is Jeff Gordon forever......go 24!!!!...

My Dad LOVED NASCAR and Indy racing, so he got "us kids" hooked at an early age...

When he passed away last Sept, it was very hard for me to finish the season and start this season without him, but I know he would want me to follow the sport and I still am, although a bit sadly...:(

I hope he got to meet all the NASCAR greats in that great "racetrack in the sky"...maybe he has a front row seat each week with Dale Earnhardt...lol...

I expect a full report when you return...ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!...

We went to June MIS race this year due to 50th High School reunion this week end. Who scheduled that??? At least I'll get to show off my yellow 2LT to all my OLD classmates.
The Chevy display in June was awesome. Had three Camaros on Friday, I think, plus Dale Jr. Edition, but the yellow one was gone Saturday and Sunday. Prolly sold it.
Everybody, enjoy the race. Hope it isn't a single file type like MIS can be.

As much as I like MIS, no. I do however go to Daytona International Speedway every year for the race. I am also far from a redneck so yeah, its always interesting.

I did talladega in spring 2007.... I found plate racing wasn't that thrilling in person, other than seeing Kyle Busch wrecking....but he's done that at every race I attend...I hope to carry the CAMAROSCOTTY CURSE with me this weekend!

Glad to see another Kyle (BOOOOOOOOOOOOO) Busch hater

....he can "drive the wheels off" anything you put him in, but his attitude SUCKS "big time"...he is an arrogant, snotty, bratty, non-respectful, a-hole...
His older brother Kurt used to be the same way when he started until his face fell on Jimmy Spencer's("Jimmy Spencer never forgets"...lol)fist after a race...after that,he seems a bit more repectful now, unlike his younger brother "Shrub".............
Wish I could be there this weekend...I'll be looking for you in the stands...lol...

Made it to the hotel, after eating a HUGE FAMILY STYLE lunch in Indiana...great place to eat...WOW!

Hitting the pool - and up early in the morning!

I was at the race Jimmy socked Kurt....Jimmy needs to come back and do the same to Kyle. Kurt turned around a lot since then....

I've been saying for quite awhile that someone needs to "kick the crap" out of Kyle and straighten him out...

Boy, Scott you are my NASCAR "hero"...lol...You get to go to races and Kyle "just happens to lose" when you are there...lol...

You are my "good luck charm"....if only you could get Jeff Gordon to win when you're at a race, it would be even better...

And, the best story is that you were there for Jimmy("Jimmy Spencer never forgets"...lol..)Spencer teaching Kurt a little lesson about respect...

Enjoy the race tomorrow and I hope whoever your favorite driver is, wins, but only if it's the #24..............

Great race today, right down to the last lap...good seeing Jr lead some laps, I could hear the crowd "roaring" when he took 1st place for awhile...

Glad my buddy Jeff Gordon came in 2nd, wish he won, but good to see Brian Vickers have his 2nd win overall and the 1st win since 2006...sorry he drives for Toyota and gave them their 1st win at MIS...:(

Hope you enjoyed the race and the "Team Chevy" exhibit was a success...

I think I "saw you"...lol...sitting in the stands...
