GM's working on a direct-injected replacement for the LS3 for the C7.

True, but for the entire time it is lost to the universe, since by definition nothing inside the EH has any material effect on the universe, so information is lost until it leaks out in the form of hawkings radiation or perhaps virtual particle pairs on the boundry of the EH.

Or the hypothisis I favor is Feinmans where actually it is all contained, frozen in time just on the edge of the EH as well as in the blackhole, a duality, since it has really entered the BH but to the outside observer it looks like it is all just sitting their in the edge as time dialates from our perspective, so it was never lost in the first place.
