A CTS-V prototype was spied on the ring, and you can bet it had a LT4

Is it just me or do those look like carbon ceramic rotors?
Here are the Z/28s CCBs for reference.

They sure do. They are massive, taking up practically the entire inner wheel.

CCBs seem a little absurd on this car. The ZL1 has iron rotors with much more weight and power. I hope GM doesn't start putting CCBs on every somewhat high performance car unless they can get the price down considerably.

Think of it has Pepsi Light and Pepsi haha.

![]() Correct, however there has been spy photo's of what appears to be the new CTS-V testing on the 'Ring. Quote:
Unless they just offer that as a stand alone option. Would allow you to special order it from the factory with OEM CCB's. Kind of what some of the European car makers (i.e. BMW) are doing. If GM has the balls to do that, I will be impressed.

On the other hand ... its a Cadillac. Price isn't as much of a factor here as on a Chevrolet.

Either way, would be cool to see these brakes as an option on the ATS-V or CTS-V.

Not sure. If there is one, I suspect it would be similar to the 1LE or Z51 packages. Sportier suspension and/or a better wheel & tire combo. Maybe a cosmetic tweak or two as well. But the regular old NA V6 engine.

The ATS-V should have been the dry sump LT1, CCBs, DSSV dampers, dual mode exhaust and Recaros. That would have been sweet.
