I'm starting to get the feeling that most people with a 5th gen are just looking for reasons to bash the 6th gen, so they feel good about their purchase of the 5th gen.

I know one of my friends with a 45th anniv. edition has told me he kind of hopes the 6th gen flops, so that his car is better.

that is completely crazy. particularly since the styling seems to point to the least change from one generation to the next.

my friend is concerned that the 6th gen will be what the 5th gen should have been. lighter and faster. I mean, I know if I still had my SS, and the 6th gen came out, looking very similar, but was light, faster, and nicer interior, i'd be jealous. I wouldn't hope that it sucked though. I would just have to spend more money to get one.

there's always the hope that the next one is 'perfect' , and it never is. i remember when they made some changes in 2012 some people were upset like they got ripped off buying a year early.
if it's lighter it'll probably be 150 pounds. lol, honestly the way the steering is weighted, driving the car the 4thgen felt heavier somehow. how much faster can it be? a tenth of a second? two tenths?
Tell him he can always get one later. the first year sometimes there are glitches anyway.

I actually like the new renders of the 6th gen, that front bumper looks cool and the headlights are sick!

a light or medium blue is nice, but not a color I would buy. I definitely think they need one. more than they need 3 different reds. lol

shark grey really does look even better in person. lots of metallic , and Lime Rock really pops too. the green is very vivid. reminded me of the emerald city in the wizard of oz . this one had a little stuffed Stingray on it's hood.
