Just watched District 9..well....half of it

I don't want to spoil this movie for you guys but this is the first movie I have ever walked out of.This thing is just dumb... I went from laughing to shocked and back again. It's getting great reviews by critics and movie goers alike..any1 else think this thing was a BOMB? I did see a silver SS in the parking lot!

i went and saw it last night and yes there were a few parts in the beginning that got the "WTF" look. But it really started to pick up towards the end. Solid B for the effort. Movie of year, decade, ever? No. Not something to rush and go see but definetly check it out. But again, I'm just some guy waiting on his new Camaro. What does my opinion matter?

I liked it.. some of the guys i went with did not.. Too each his own i suppose. But i thought it was set up nicely with the real time (Interview) type of set up to a fast pace people getting annihilateby by alien weaponry set up. I am curious though does anyone who has seen it remember the reason the aliens came in the first place??

They went there by mistake and once they got there they couldn't leave due a basically what amounts to being out of gas.

Haven't seen it, but from what I heard, you walked out too early .. 1st half to set things up , second half ... has a lot of action ..

It was ok not great, if you walked out that was your mistake, first hour is very very slow and second hour is nonstop and almost makes up for it. It wasn't what I was expecting but was original and well done.
