Ford doomed this car to be slower than it should be when they decided to run 255f 275r tires. That is just not enough rubber for a car that heavy. It should have 275f 305r.

Got the video to work on my phone. Kind of sad how the mustang still can't compete with the 1LE even with its performance pack. Seems the performance pack still doesn't really fully solidify the car for some track use.
Can't wait to see the new Camaro perform now. |

I wouldn't call 1 1/2 seconds faster around the track a spanking, but I think it goes to show that the C5 is still the better package. Ford knows where they stand and I hope they can win some battles in the future besides straight line performance. Looking back, Camaro lost few battles over the last 5 years and won the War... Walked away with it if you ask me because there was no answer to the Z/28. The new Mustang is great, but still, for a Mustang lol.
Rather than take the piss out of Mustang6 engineers, I would like to take the time and give all credit to those that were involved in developing the Camaro and the packages that came with it... Back to the drawing board, again! It doesnt effect me, but this has got to hurt for some. The 5th gen will now reach legendary status. Retro, edgy, good looks, and the most rounded modern day classic money can buy. You can have it all if your driving one of these. |

I know about DA because I race in 4000+. I know you can't compare times from across the country unless you correct the times.
But if you want to be an ass, stock Mustang 5.0's have gone 12.2 in negative DA. |

Not surprising, both videos show that the Camaro is much more planted and firm when going through corners ect..CHEVY for the win
No wonder Dodge said forget it and jst worried about straight lines lol
