My stock 2011 5.0 auto would run a 12.7 all day long so a 2015 doing this is no surprise.

Looks like we need several 11-14 5.0 vs 15 5.0 results

Good pass but the thing that stands out to me the most...

It sounds terrible. What I mean is it did not sound like a V8 car at all. I read a review that said it was almost too quiet. Maybe the camera missed the v8 burble but it was awfully quiet to me.

Can't make it sound too nice right outta the box. Gotta give Ford racing a chance to sell an overpriced exhaust system that shoulda been on it in the first place.

yea and on top of that, Ford implemented one cat into the header just to piss you off so you have to buy a set of long tubes to get the offroad x portion of it unlike before.....

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong but are the 11-13 autos faster? I swear people on this forum seem to think they ran 12.5 stock and are unbeatable by a LS3 equipped SS unless you have a cam!. 12.8 is right in stock SS territory last I checked...

In good air Ive seen 12.55 and 12.62 from an auto 2013 on stock 19" rubber. My SS ran 13 flat in good air, the mustang is faster stock most of the time. Its lighter and has shorter/better gearing

So they do run a good couple tenths quicker then? I ran a 13 flat stock with a god awful 2.3 60 so I know I had 12.7-12.8 in me...

they are 2-3 tenths on avg faster in the 1/4 mile. I expect this 2015 mustang to be right in line with the 2011+ mod for mod even. Its just a more refined car now. It wont feel as raw as the preivous versions either.

I called my dealership today, they will contact me towards the end of the month when they get one in... I'm certain it will feel like I'm riding on a cloud in comparison to my 2008
From what I've seen from the 6th gen Ring vid it does look better IMO but it is in camo so who knows yet

The Roush version looks nice and aggressive. Closer to what the stock GT should have been...its a nice and mean looking ride. First time I've ever looked at the 15 Mustang and instantly liked it.

Make sure you check out the outside photos of it...the inside "glamour" photos do it no justice.

Must be a very quick launch, but the 107mph is weak IMO. That new IRS looks great!
