New bone stock 2015 Mustang 5.0 Auto runs high 12's...

2015 Mustang GT Automatic at NMRA World Finals Beech Bend Raceway Bowling Green, KY.
Ran 12.861 at 107.08 MPH.




"SCT Tuning purchased a bone stock 2015 Mustang GT and drove it from the dealership in Murfreesboro, TN directly to Beech Bend Raceway.
With 138 miles on the clock the Black Premium GT Auto w/ 20" wheels set the record as the first 2015 Mustang to make a pass at an NMRA event."




Notes: DA was 529. DA corrected, the run comes out to 12.81 @ 107 mph.

Not too surprised...these get out and move basically the same as the previous gen. Good run...looks like it got out of the hole pretty well.

That was on the standard dealership 87 octane...or at least that is what I was led to believe...who knows.

Looks like stock the auto 5.0 puts down 375whp and 355 wtq..not bad!

You guys seen the roush yet?

Its definitely a visual improvement...but not sure its totally perfect (but...is anything...)

For reference. ..whatre ls3 camaros making to the ground?

It's growing on me (like the C7), but hey that's life! I don't expect the 6th gen Camaro to top the 5th gen in the looks department, just the way it is. But, the S550 is just superior on so many levels over the S197 that the good will definitely outweighs the bad. I called my dealership today, they will contact me towards the end of the month when they get one in... I'm certain it will feel like I'm riding on a cloud in comparison to my 2008

The 2014 s197 is better looking imo, the tech and the irs will make it a better all around, but its not good looking except the tailights and interior.
