IIRC, GM previously stated: "With this package, the Corvette Z06 delivers the most aerodynamic downforce of any production car that GM has ever tested."
Very good point.

Looks like Chevy just might be needing a Mid Engine Vette after all. With these two prowling the streets. I don't see the other not so super Super cars standing a chance. Let the games begin again.....

I think the Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic Z06 will be the quickest! Well... it's one of the fastest off the assembly line!

That's my second favorite. Since they aren't making my first favorite I'll just have to go with that.

$7995 - Z07 PERFORMANCE PKG (Must choose & order either CFV or CFZ)
CFV – CARBON FIBER GROUND EFFECTS = $3995
CFZ – CARBON FLASH GROUND EFFECTS = $2995
NEW 8 SPEED AUTO WITH PADDLESHIFT (MSU) = $1725
Then add 'em up.... and you'll get this Z06 w/ Z07 pkg + Stage-3 aero pkg:

I like that you can get a package that doesn't have those ugly fender spats or whatever they are called.

As far as the new ZO6 is concerned just wait until some owners change out the super stiff and very heavy run flat tires for a non run flat or drag radial. I think mid 10's with just a tire change will be real easy with a auto Z06. I bet there will be at least 1 owner who gets low 10's with DR's on a auto car. Wheel and tire change cars could see high 9's with no other changes other than the wheels and tires. That's a pretty good bargain when you think about it. A car that you could keep full warranty on and run high 9's.

but recall... if NHRA doesn't certify it, it never happened and could not happen. (Sarcasm)

Great shots Stingray! I noticed the emphasis on quickest in this slide. What then would be the fastest car GM ever produced?

Lol. The challenger hc is suv weight running with z06s. lol there is no mistaken that and if the challenger don't the charger def will a full size 5 seater sedan running with a 2 seat sports car. actually its title is ''the fastest thing Chevy has rolling off the line ''pretty impressive to me !
