Over The Hill Gang , Old Farts with Young Cars

Wow! Lots of folks celebrating their anniversaries!

Hubby washed, clayed, sealed, then waxed. I asked how many coats and he said three or four coats of wax. Which knowing him is probably more like SIX. Best wax he could fine, cost an arm an a leg, hand applied then machined.

Now for the real question. What the heck happens to these Old Farts? All of a sudden they turn into Cowboys! Yeehaw!

I live in a twin tower high-rise complex. About 200 parking spaces in the underground parking garage, about 200 parking spaces outdoors. Underground, I was the first to have a Camaro. Over the years, in underground, a red Camaro and a silver Camaro added (I have a white). Funny, this week actually saw the other two Camaro owners as we were entering or exiting the parking garage. All us Camaro owners in my building parking are gray haired old farts!

Fortunately he cleans up ok. Here he is sporting his "posture shirt" under his red polo ZL1 shirt. Boy does he think he's mister fancy pants or what???

Happy Anniversary folks & congrats. We had a productive day. I got Ruby all checked out. All the basics look to be fine. Mike put some mulch out & watered everything. It has been some time since we got rain. We gave Ruby's room & her "cage" (That she us never closed up in & she uses as a litter box instead of her real litter box) a good cleaning too. Then we grilled & ate some burgers & I roasted a few marshmallows. Now having a few adult beverages. We will head over to Mike's parents tomorrow & visit my dad. Hope everyone had a great Saturday & have a nice evening.

At least they are not falling down. I now have to drop another pants size, and I'm not sure I have any.

Sounds like a great way to end a Saturday.

Some storms blew through here this evening. To celebrate our anniversary, we wanted to go out to dinner, but so many trees in Peoria and Glendale were blown over. Between blocked parking lots and power loss, we ended up at a Red Lobster. Wasn't our first choice, but it wasn't a bad meal.

Weather will be great here in Phoenix next week, highs in the 90's. Gonna be cooler in Maryland next week with a few days having rain chances. Hope Saturday is nice, as a buddy and I are going up to Carlisle, PA for the big fall swap meet.

Good morning crew. Started out having breakfast & coffee on the deck swing with Ruby Too (bunny) on a prefect weather morning. Just finished up documentation from Friday's last 2 sessions & now time to get ready for heading out to visit with our parents. Have a great Sunday everyone.

Howdy folks! I just noticed that hubby, in the pic posted earlier, that he's wearing his gun belt buckle. And he had it on when we went to dinner. Good lord he thinks he's cool. He collects belt buckles out of all thing! Must have two dozen of them, lots of Texas ones for sure. But these are two of his favorites.

Well We visited with Mike's parents & ate way too much again. We drove both Camaros. It was a great day. After that Mike came on home & I went to visit my dad. When I got there I could not get him to answer or come to the door so I went to find staff to unlock it. When I got back he had come out & his "girlfriend" was in there with him. They are not supposed to be in each other's rooms. They have had previous incidents of being found in..............uh.............................com promising positions. LOL He hardly knows who I am, has to be reminded who my kids are but he ain't dead!


I drove by & checked on Mama's grave on the way home then took the scenic route home. It was a very nice drive.

LOL. The real one is usually under the seat, well until he gets out, then it goes high up on his side/chest! Concealed permit! I think his buckle lets em know to stay away.

Jan, I'm glad to hear that you could talk at some length with your son - I know how much it means to my wife when she gets to just talk with ours.

Congratulations to the 28th, 28th, 30th, 31st, and 37th anniversary couples.

abaucom - just because there's a little snow on the roof doesn't mean we can't show some of the young'uns a thing or two about what these cars can do that they didn't know and never expected.
