German cars are a better than American.... what a load of crap

I was like this in class yesterday ..................

I got ganged up by a bunch of future ricer in class

I mean who agree with the quote I wrote my signature ?????

Who in they right mind would think a tune GTI or a Honda with a k20 engine ... and other's not worth mentioning could keep up with a cheaply modded Camaro, Mustang, corvette, GT500 -etc

You don't know how bad I had to bite my lip yesterday, they made me look like a fool .... that I didn't know what I was talking about, I think I should change my class for I end up breaking somebody's neck !!!!!!!

But seriously. I'd have told them to provide proof that their beloved Bimmer, K20, or ZOMGTARBODEEZEL!! could do what we can with a Mod Ford v8, LS1, or Hemi for the same amount of money and produce the same results per weight class.

That means lots of math, and statistics. Bench racing... that's all it was; Bench Racing. Tell them to bring their Bimmer, Hundurr or Voksvahaghun to the strip and duke it out with your SRT Charger.

Or better yet take it to the track with the Camaro when the time comes.

There is a reason why they say 'no replacement for displacement'. It makes it cheap to increase power and ultimately gives you more to work with if maximum performance is the goal. High tech, highly tuned engines have little room left to work with, so improving on them gets expensive.

I voted no. Who says Americans are the only ones who make big power, or have big engines. Who says foreign brands are the only ones with low power and little engines? Who says big engines have big power and small engines have small power? And who says power is the only point anyway?

I also voted no. The German cars are very well made. I love the Audi TT's.

German cars are far more complex than American cars...but that doesn't equate to, and I wouldn't call them better at all!!

Your signature is a little vague...it lumps everything non-American into one group. That's a tough assumption to make. Generally, yes I think it's right -- but there's enough times it's not to question it.

I would not say german cars are better than american... but I do like european cars in general more than american cars just because of ferrari, lamborghini, bmw, audi, mercedes, porsche and so on
