Up by the main entrance is not cool at all to park like that. It doesn't bother me if someone does it further away.

Ok, no the corvette definitely should not have parked like that right by the entrance, just asking for trouble. But the asshat just HAD to prove a point and do that so he could tell his drunken buddies later how he "showed up that corvette."
I can park out in the boonies of a parking lot with tons of empty spaces, and there frequently has to be that ONE person that can't stand it that you A- have a nice vehicle or B- I just like to walk! So they park right by you! Sooooo irritating!

Agreed that the clowns that park next to you at the back of parking lots are "asshats", however this douche bag totally deserved this. There was a video on you tube that somebody filmed from inside the restaurant showing the corvette owner's reaction. Definitely a little shock

I had this happen at a local Perkins. 2 cars taking 3 spots directly in front of the main entrance. Some people are just morons.

When I saw this on the news this morning I laughed out load! Hell yeah this guy deserved this, I think this was a great way to get the point across, some people would have scratched the paint or dumped something on it and that I do not condone.

On the other hand if parking spaces weren't so narrow AND people weren't so thoughtless around other peoples properties (banging their doors into cars) people wouldn't have the need to park like that. Not that I agree with him, he was in the wrong, but remember the world around him shaped him to be like that - he wasn't born with an instinct to park like that. Parking spaces should be wide enough to where a door can fully open and not be able to hit the car next to it. That's the main problem. He should of just parked in the back and walked though. Doing that in the front row nearest to the building's entrance was a super BAD idea! I think all vehicles should have Lambo doors that swing up instead of out! Then you would eliminate a majority of the parking fears people have!
