Yup, I am originally from California and can confirm the ridiculous tuition...

I thought about Law School as well until the company I interned for ended up offering me a full time job after graduation.

Yeah it's a hard decision especially how the market is now.. Nice work getting the job I'm trying to balance work, the military, and trying to figure out if grad school is feasible haha

Can confirm insane California tuition. Looked at Berkeley on a whim....holy shit. My school of choice right now is UCI, but I am leaning more towards Uni. of Oregon because it will be much more inexpensive.

Let's avoid drama on this thread please. I've dealt with this all too much. People think they can say what they want because they are protected behind their computer screen. In my opinion, it makes them look like cowards. Anywho In Louisiana, we have TOPS, which pays for your tuition if you go in state.

This is true. Out of state is INSANE, but things like WUE tend to help us who aren't bill gate's cousin.

I apologize for saying anything that I said to create drama, and can assure you it was not the intent. Just poking fun at a comment..not here to cause problems

TOPS seems like a great program, but no out-of state help sucks. Time to apply to all those random scholarships that come out of nowhere

I qualified for no scholarships at the time.. FAFSA is a pain.. I ended up joining the military second year of college to help pay. Came back and finished at same UC.. best decision I've made.

If money is a little to large concern consider community college beforehand for 2 years. They have many programs that are direct feeders for UCs

My tuition is relatively cheap. Granted it's the meal plans and living on campus that will get ya

This is exactly what I am doing. I am in the last semester of getting my AA from a local community college, and planned to sign a TAG (Transfer Admittance Guarantee), but was 1 credit short to be considered. Total BS too, considering I pulled myself though 4 hard-ass summer classes with a 4.0 just to boost my GPA enough to make the requirement

mmmmm...fooooood....

Totally worth it. On a totally off-topic note, has anyone seen the buffet service at UCB? If I went there....I would weigh more than a fully loaded camaro half way through the semester
