The thing that really bothers me is that all my life I saw people, freinds and such, that had thing I wanted so badly but never could have. Me and Bonnie have worked hard and taken the risks and finally got to the point where we could get some of these things and can enjoy them. Other than a financed wedding ring, the first diamond or gold I was able to buy her in our almost 18 yrs together have been in the past few years.

It pisses me off to have things stolen from me.

That pretty much matches us exactly. The two diamond necklaces were in the past 2 years. Expensive to us and even though they were nice I can't see them really worth stealing. I'm just plain sick over this

The one bright part of the day was when I told my wife the list I came up with she told me she had moved the ID bracelet and it was where shed put it. More time wasted calling the cops and insurance back with the correction but at least it's still here

Still doesn't help the feeling though.

This is the one thing I can agree with some countries over ours though.
You get caught steeling, you get your f***ing hand cut off. AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE.

:( Still feeling so bad for you, Jamie..................:(

Thought of your bad situation many times today and wanted you to know that you have many people in your life and on this forum that care about you very much and hope for a safe return of your "priceless" valuables and your "faith in humanity"...

Besides the grief over losing things that have personal value to you, it's a horrible feeling of being violated when someone went through your things. Happened to us a couple of years ago. It's hard to trust anyone after it. When the stolen items have sentimental value, it's harder to forget.

So sorry you had to experience that.

I remember in 1986, we got our first color TV. (Yes, 1986)

I left for the military in 1988 and my parents were just finally getting settled in the good jobs that eluded them for so long during my childhood. They had gotten their first VCR and a bigger TV and a few other things. Some things that I take for granted now. I can remember my mom telling me on the phone whemever they would get something new that they had allways wanted. They were so proud to finally be owning some things that they never had and were really enjoying finally being one of the 'haves' instead of the 'have nots'. I was sooooo happy for them. They got robbed of ALL of their stuff and had no insurance to cover their stuff. My mom sobbed on the phone when she told me about it. She wanted to keep it from me so I wouldn't worry about them but my brother had allready told me. I wanted to literaly KILL the sobs that had taken from them what they finally had been able to get. Sure, it's only possesions but the blood, sweat and tears that go into attaining the things that make a home, a home, are precious. Stiffer penalties in this country are LONG overdue.

It's been a shitty year. Thank God the Camaro is a 2010. We've been fortunate enough this year to help out a friend who's house burned down, the kid of a highschool friend who died in a motocycle accident, my best friend who was about to lose her house after a divorce and now my youngest sons best friends dad by hiring him when he was laid off. Each time I've been shit on. All money that would have come in handy here at home. I have lost so much faith in humanity this year it's unbelivable. Prima Donna is my Camaro5 thearopist thus the Lucy references. I owe her a lot of nickels. She keeps telling me to let my light shine and I really want to but it's getting harder every day. love you Donna your awesome! I'm so frustrated beyond belief. Sorry for the language to the young folk. Thanks all for letting me vent.

Sorry to hear about that Jamie.

a co-worker of mine recently had his whole house burglarized - it wasn't the loss of the items that hurt so much, it was the rage and lack of feeling "safe" in your own home. I totally understood. We all chipped in and helped him through. Luckily the INS company ACTUALLY paid up!!! And took care of him. We were pleasantly surprised. The local Detectives were very helpful.

I hope you have a similar outcome!!

Take care Bro! I feel for ya.

My wife got home and did a further inventory. Another call to the officer and another call to insurance. We won't even come close on monetary value much less sentimental value. Please have your stuff appraised and pay the extra for insurance. Yes I'm drunk and posting. Take an inventory of what you have. You never know when it will be gone.

I wish there was something I could say or do to make it "all better"...you know how much I really care, Jamie...
I think you are a good person...don't ever forget that...
I do believe in kharma and you have plenty "saved up" judging by your many generous, selfless deeds...
May God Bless You as you have blessed so many others...
