So happy to hear they are adding a Third Shift here at the Wentzville Plant.

30,000 orders already recieved.

It seems about 97,000 have been built on the website.

I'm surprised that you can even get the 2.5 with the 4x4 option and they don't force you to get the 3.6...

Built a WT ext cab 4x4, 2.5 for a about $28,250, or $29,485 w/ the 3.6... not too bad I guess.

Tried to build a Canyon, but it's only available in a CC Long box? W/ no options other than adding 4x4 it's @ $35,235... Bummer. Will it be available in the ext cab?

You must have done the CC, 4x4, with luxury, convenience, and a few other options as well.

Not saying this truck is cheap, but 38K gets you a very loaded example.

A nicely equipped CC 2x4 seems to come in around 32K and 4x4 around 35 - 36 K.

I think this has been going on for a long time already. I've been seeing local commercials for up to $8,500 off for quite a while now, and a few days ago I saw a commercial advertising up to $10,000 off select Silverados.

I hope once year end comes around for the new mid size trucks, that GM left enough wiggle room in the MSRP to take a few grand or more off their price as well.

Im on a popular Colorado site and nobody is saying that.

First of all, yes I have read that and will now have to go back and post a link so you can see for your own eyes since your doubts are evident. And what doesnt make sense as some have already pointed out is your statement about how this truck is not meant to compete with the tacoma yet with a full size.. WHAT? It is indeed aiming directly at the tacoma, and the tacoma is the better truck until GM proves they have developed a relevent challenger. I had a colorado it was horrendous POS, it coudnt even turn around in the street, yet my buddys fulls size crew cab diesel made it no problem, its engine was a doggggg, even after mods it was a joke, offroad forget it, so yes it is playing catchup to the tacoma, and if it proves capable then hey we have some selection now, but it must prove it! Cause midsize owners know that the previous model doesnt hold a candle to the tacoma, resale value, proven race pedigree, and offroad prowlness that comes with a model that hasnt had to change much in a decade.

by the way ive been on a colorado site as well since 07 since I last had my colorado and the even owners know what a tacoma has been proven to be and respect it.
