New Member from Texas. 2014 ZL1

Alright guys/gals. Just a quick hi. I finally went American. I've always had foreign made cars and I've been telling myself to stay away from Chevy. But, after about 3 months of car shopping, I pulled the trigger on the ZL1 over the GTR. Anyhow, I did alot of homework on these forums and decided what the heck, why not. So, I did. 2014 ZL1 w/Recaro Pkg. Auto w/Pshift. Nav, sunroof. Blah blah blah, you get the point. I absolutely love the car. I've had it 2 days and I've already had 3 neighbors walk to my house to check it out and pretty much the whole office building where my company is has stopped and said they think it's a nice car.

I'll be doing the 1500 mile break in then it's off for a 750HP ugrade from D3 Engineering here in Houston.

First of all, congratulations and welcome!
I'm in the Houston area also, and I just finished the break in on mine. I have been considering going for a package upgrade, and was thinking of shipping the car up to ADM in Dallas or Lingenfelter in Indiana for a 700 or 750 upgrade.
What can you tell me about D3 Engineering? I'd rather have the work done locally if I can find a right place.....I'm 25 minutes from Hennessey, but have no interest in having them work on my car.

Sure thing. One of my good friends runs it. They do alot of custom fab work. High HP builds. I'll email you his FB link.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
