I would say that it is definitely not an essential piece. I have one but I only got one after I had all the other main pieces to the puzzle.

We looked at a volt before the Cruze and it was not worth it. It costs double and doesn't really get that good of MPGs once the electricity runs out in about 60 miles.

Sooo this time I am getting my backing plates 3.5 and 5. Two sets of 4 in orange/white hex logic pads and 5 in too. Grit guard x 2. Meguiars M21/26. All from amazon with prime.. Gotta love amazon. And from car pro. Glass polishing pad and towels. Lots of them.. Lol

Yea I honestly say to take those 50 dollars and apply it towards some quality microfiber and other things first. Some people might disagree with me but like I said that is how I feel about it.
