Lol that trip is like half the island away. When we were there my family wanted to take us to a restaurant to get the good food. They told us it was on the other side of the island but we were in like an hour. We did have the highway for the most part though.

I guess we did a lot of driving while there we just pilled it together. We stayed in my families beach apartment on Isla Verde. Some of the places I remember off the top of my head that we went to were Arecibo and Ponce. I got to see the country side when we went to my dad's cousins coffee farm. For the life of me can't remember where it was.

Ponce is close to Guayama and Arecibo to Isabela... pretty much you right is like crossing the island, using the highway I did the trip in 2+ hours but when I went country roads It was 3+ hours...

Yea the extra time is well worth the view you get going through the country side. Very different from anything you see in the states.
