Looks like the performance exhaust is standard with Z51 now not a bad idea.

Yeah, 85% or more of Z51 buyers opted for NPP also in '14. Totally made sense.
Just for comparison purposes, my 2LT Z51 manual coupe would be $3160 more for '15 than it listed for when I bought it. The only options I had were the sueded seat inserts, the exposed carbon roof panel and R8C Museum Delivery. None of those options changed in price.

Since Becky already posted the numbers in the Ordering Section, I guess the dealers got it.

Too darn much for what they're offering.

Hopefully this will show up on the supplier site sooner rather than later.

Hey everyone, I just placed my order for a 2015 night race blue/kalahari Stingray with my local dealer. I have a few quick questions:
(1) Has anyone have a photo of the new black machined aluminum wheels? I've seen this type of wheel on a Jaguar F-type and it looked sweet. (2) What is the charge for $ 995 called DFC? Is that the delivery charge? (3) My dealer didn't have the new price sheet so he told me I have time to edit my build. Based on this worksheet my coupe w/Z51, 3LT, yellow calipers, black aluminum machined wheels, automatic, magnetic ride, carbon fiber interior pack, and DFC (whatever that is) comes out to about 75k. Eek. I could save 5k by switching to the 2LT package (I'm set on all the options). Does the full leather wrap of the 3LT make it worth the 5k premium? |

DFC is the fee charged for destination. In the past several dozen years it has never been subject to negotiation nor to discount.

Does anyone anticipate getting any kind of discount on the 2015? My local dealer here in SC told me that no Chevy dealerships will be offering any real discounts & some are even charging over MSRP.
Not sure if this is accurate but I found the 2015 price guide online. This is my calculation of the MSRP based on the options we selected. I'm not sure what the DFC charge is.... maybe it's the delivery charge? Hopefully this can be eliminated. This is how my car priced out... Corvette Stingray Coupe w/Z51: $ 58,000 3LT Package: $ 9450 Yellow Calipers: $ 595 Black Machined Aluminum Wheels: $ 1495 8-Speed Paddle Shift Automatic: $ 1725 Magnetic Ride Control: $1795 Carbon Fiber Interior Appearance Package: $ 995 DFC: $ 995 Total: $ 75,050 I was hoping to stay in the 70-72k range but what's an extra few thousand dollars, right? I could give up 3LT but I'm thinking that it makes the car look much more high-end. I remember seeing a Porsche 911 with full leather and it made a big, big difference. |
