Jesse James broke Speed Record in 572HP Chevy
I was very impressed with Jesse James crew (Jesse James is a Dead Man) for building and running a Chevy 572HP with hydrogen fuel/intercoolers and twin turbos to the fastest land speed record with a ZERO EMISSIONS car.
Way to represent America and smoke the Germans! Congrats to the whole team!

That is correct 199mph. I think the Bavarian's were at the 178mph marker prior to the "Hydrogen Bomb" breaking the record.

It was a 572 Chevy engine, but it had 750 horsepower.
