Future Owner. No Car yet.

Hello All

No. I do not have the car yet. Hopefully I will have one in 12-18 months. Never owned a muscle before. So preparing ahead. Found this forum while conducting research (about 3 days ago) on some questions and have been lurking around since.

I am not from the US. I am from India where motorcyles are big (atleast in my circle) , so my interest in cars has never been really serious, that is until I fell in love with the 2010 Camaro. Now I am dead set on getting one as soon as I can. I want to keep it for as long as possible. That's the kind of commitment I am looking for after I get the car.

I will have lots of questions. Some of them really stupid, some of them really simple and some really specific. I am confident that all of those will be answered without any prejudice.

I am really glad to have found this community.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome.

I have been reading up on the fun stuff and all the experiences of other members to get a feel. And I have to say that I have faced some of that eve without a car. For example, why would you want a muscle. It doesn't work in snow.

Just cannot wait to get done with my present situation and start a new life with the car. My GF got pissed at me tonight when I said this.

She said you are more interested in buying that car than marrying me and starting 'our' life. Had to deflect to be honest.
