Active Duty as a Navy IT. Been in for 3 years next month. Getting switched to Virginia in a few months. Like to meet up with some Camaro5 members

You're going to be just the south side of the heart of Hampton Roads.
VA Beach, Norfolk, Williamsburg, all within a 45 minute drive. As long as it isn't rush hour.
DOUBLE all drive times during rush hour, ESPECIALLY if you have to cross one of the bridge/tunnels.
I lived in Gloucester for 4 years while stationed at Fort Eustis and my wife lived there until she was 19. Retiring back to the area next year.

Do you actually like the area I'm from Texas but I've been living in San Diego for 3 years I feel like I've been spoiled.

Im from Northern VA and had made a few trips down there. I wouldn't get my hopes up in my opinion. Nothing seems to have been updated in a long time

I tend to prefer the outskirts of the area myself. I'm not big on urban/city living. There's plenty to do in the area, just have to search it out sometimes.
