Conan The Barbarian -Battle of the Ruins

Love the final fight in "Conan The Barbarian". Great swords (I collect swords) and a kick ass soundtrack make this oh so awesome:

That is one of my all time favorites......I have a different sword CLEMEN & JUNG - SOLINGEN

I contacted Solingen to get some info on it and they said all their records were destroyed by the Nazis in WWII. All they make now is handcufs and a few other steel products, no more swords.

I have quite a few swords now, the hand made Samurai's are at a safe location and for some reason I don't have pictures on my cell phone and I am not digging out the digital camera.

I do have this Conan "Atlantean" blade, it's pretty cool:

And some blades I have here at home. Love the "Moro" criss knife bladed one:

Top blade looks like an Arisaka bayonet to me

Here's it's US counterpart: my 1919 Springfield Model of 1905, with a WWII Detroit Gasket scabbard and mills ammo belt

BTW-

Conan the barbarian is playing this Saturday at Midnight at Coolidge Corner

Awesome seeing these films on the big screen, and they CRANK the sound up during the films. Also coming up is Shaun of the Dead, Jaws, and They Live
