Remember it has very tall gears 2.75 or so and an 8 speed. The GT500 makes 663 without a GG tax and it has much more aggressive gears and only a 6 speed. Why is it impossible? |

Yes you certainly could build a SS or GT to go just as quick, and you will loose every cent of mod money put into the project as well as the initial value of the car had you left it stock. You will also stress every component of the car which was not designed to handle the increased performance. Bottom line is if you want to go fast pay for the right vehicle: ZL1, GT500, or Hellcat, rather than nickel and diming yourself to death with mod money on a SS, GT, R/T only to loose it all when it comes time to sell.

All these cars will depreciate as soon as they leave the lot. Not to mention if your gonna mod it ya take the good with the bad.

anyone know if the 2 keys things is true? I heard they will have two keys. one that will restrict the car to around 500hp, and another key that will unlock the full potential of the car. This could bypass the gas guzzler tax.
