Note sure how you expect the Challenger to outsell the Camaro and Mustang, the Mustang has a long history and has been in production since 1964. Camaro long history again in production since 1967 with a bit of down time in 2000's

Challenger was in made in 70's for a few years, and it will take time to build up that rep, back in the 70's there were not as many made and I never see it selling in the numbers that other 2 sell in.

I'm sure that if you add up the numbers of the 300 the Charger and the Challenger it is a good number. The plant in Brampton makes these 3 cars on the same line and they are making all the cars they can, to make more Challengers they would need to have their own line.

Really surprised after reading endless reviews of the Camaro SS and how HUGE it is and how hard it is to drive "quick" and make corners, change angles, etc. In my limited time in the seat so far, it's a grand tour car most of the time, but when I decide to get "froggy" I was really shocked how well it turns and handles. Never drove a 1LE or ZL-1 (or the lucky few that have a Z/28) but mine is unreal as is, and those cars must be sick.



Would like to test drive the Hellcat, but just seems like the Viper; wild overkill on a car that cannot win it's segment. Sales #'s don't lie.

for 722rwhp Lingenfelter's car is a turd... that car should be a 10.2 or better car all day. It doesnt '60 or 1/8 well at all. its strong on the back half, but that wont win races. That car has 150rwhp more than my car and is +600lbs yet runs .5 slower?

Just confirmed color for mine today dealer says they are about 1 -2 months out. Can not wait B5 blue with auto. Have not owned a auto in a long time but a 8 speed is hard to beat.

It's the worlds slowest 700hp production car. It's an 11-sec car, just like the GT500. The manual Hellcat will run high 11's and the automatic will run low 11's. If the Ford had an automatic, it would run low 11's too. This would have been great three years ago but Dodge as usual is late to the game.

The funny irony in your post is that the 2011 392 SRT out handles the SS. Not by much but its very, very close. Gets destroyed by the 1LE and ZL1 though.

Lightning lap times C&D VIR

1LE 3:01.50

Boss LS 3:02.80

Mustang GT 3:08.60

SRT392 3:09.40

Camaro SS 3:09.50

The outstanding handling capability of the ZL1 and 1LE have given the impression that all Camaro's handle better than Challengers. On the flip side, the initial tests of the peg leg early SRT8 6.1 challengers has given the impression that it cant handle at all.
