Nonetheless, it still easily confuses the vast majority of people when I tell them about the Chevy "SS". They usually say "SS what?".

IBM...I also agree that SS is just not a good name. Great perf. or trim package including SPID code...but not a good standalone name.

I have a G8 which is very similar. Love the car and the extra HP the SS has would make it even better.

Gas mileage isn't very good though. Oh well!
