To me, it resembles a Camaro in the same way a Corvette resembles a Viper. They obviously aren't the same, but from a distance look like they can be.

the hood looks a lot like the z-force hood from mpd1. That said, every hood that has that type scoop has similar looks, the difference is in the details. Overall I don't see anyone thinking that it is a camaro when they see it from any angle

I see a little similarity in the shape and general proportions of the upper grille openings, but everything else looks different enough to me.

It's definitely an improvement, I would be tempted if the stock Mustang looked like that.

I would say it resembles a hybrid between the Challenger and the Camaro. The corners near the headlights totally resemble a 5th gen. The way the hood comes all the way to the front of the car with very little nose in front it.. more Challenger like. Plus it's wide and flat.. like the Challenger. IMO :-)
