I have never seen anything like it.
All mods have their quirks. I posted polls on both boards asking for color choice / sex. On this board, some mod changed it to "Color / Gender". Were they afraid that readers of this forum would be offended by seeing the word 'Sex'?!? Wonder if that mod lobbies the DMV to get the wording changed on the drivers licenses! ROFL

Correct me if im wrong but isnt site's like this about letting your hair down shooting the breeze and not worrying every time i post if i get banned. I have accounts on other car sites but the challengertalk needs to seriously lighten up. If i wanted to be in an environment like that i would join the military.

The biggest part to it is the demographics of who purchased these cars and make up the representation of the forums.

No hard feelings bro, i banned from there also from "NOTSURE" (He lothes.. yes lothes the camaro with an unearthly passion). Even if I had a Challenger which was my intention last year, i would be at this site more because of the great community camaro5 has.

I've been reading that site daily since Dec and registered a few months ago because the camaro bashing was insane and at many times... false.

There was a 5 foot 9 guy saying that he couldnt fit in the front seat of the camaro and the his head hit the celing when he sat in one at the dealer. He implied that the seats where adjusted. It was so much BS that I registered after months of lurking

On CHALLENGERTALK.COM, there is no other car in the world besides the Camaro. Its an obsession. Something they worry about stealing their thunder and glory... and to me, that a compliment for the camaro. If the car wasnt such a threat thein their OWN challenger owning members would not bring it up all the time. They wouldnt care. BUT they do.

Honestly, seems like most of them care about the "rock star status" then anything else. Even when the talk is about challengers.. the ones who had one already wanted the company to fail so they would have rare cars. On camaro5, people may talk about the looks, but they talk about the love of driving their cars for THIEIR OWN personal experiences, not JUST to have other people qawk at them every day.

Also, the ladies over here dominate

I read both boards regularly. There is a lot of the same going on on both sides. A small handful over there that feel the need to make negative comments about the Camaro and an equivalent handful over here that says not-so-nice things about the Challenger. In fact, if I go to each site and do a search of posts that mention the 'other car' within the past 90 days, I get 498 posts in the past 30 days on Challengertalk that refer to a Camaro and 500 posts over here that refer to a Challenger.

Against, see the exact same on both sides. Don't recall seeing anyone here wanting GM to fail, however I don't doubt that a single idiot may have said something to that effect over on CT.

There's not a damned thing wrong with mentioning the other car. I like both boards but I can't lie, there is an excessive amount of Camaro bashing there. We may talk about the Challenger here but the tone is almost always positive with one or two people making the boat comment. The tone there is ALWAYS negative when it comes to the Camaro.

There's a lot more people saying they want Chrysler to fail so they have a rare car. Nothing wrong with that if that's what they want but I don't think I've seen anyone say that over here about GM.

my wife bought a challenger before I had a chance to buy one I am kind of glad made me look closer at the camaro but I don't have anything against the challenger crowd. When we go to the local hot rod gathering area we all mix pretty good but the mustang people now that is a different story.

I think when the oldest one goes off to college I might have to trade in the Suburban for a Camaro. For now though, the Camaro would only make sense as our 3rd car...which the budget doesn't allow!

I like the Challys but they are even bigger and heavier than the Camaro. I actually wish the Camaro was smaller and lighter, about the size of the Mustang. All three cars are beautiful, state of the art cars. I think the Camaro is the best buy of the three when you compare performance and features for the $$$$.

i don't know about the R/T Challengers but the SRT8's are putting down any where from 360 to 380 stock on the dyno, but you know how that goes no dyno is the same and weather also has a part in the numbers too.

Welcome to Camaro5. Although it is a Camaro site, you'll find a lot of people here to be more neutral towards other models than you might expect.

Kinda off topic... I was just wondering about the performance of the V6 Challenger. Is it a dog? Dont worry, I am still planning on the Camaro!
