Talking Popped my Camaro cherry :P

Greetings from Texas!

How goes it everyone? Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Ben, I live in Houston, Texas and Im 22 years old.

I found this website shortly before purchasing my very first Camaro at the end of May, but I've just now made an account to start posting. Im pretty excited to finally own one. Ever since I saw the first Transformers movie a few years back, I've wanted to own one, and now that I've been working full time for a bit, I finally own my dream car. Traded in my 2005 Honda CR-V with a 4 cylinder engine to a 2012 Camaro LS with a manual transmission and I'm loving the power this engine has compared to other cars I've owned.

So far my improvements include K&N Re-usable Air Filter, and some footwell lightning I installed. Just a couple of blue LED strips from the auto parts store. I had some prior experience with soldering so I soldered them up to a 12v DC cig plug, fed one LED strip through the center console side panels to the driver side, and hid the wiring behind the passenger side panel. Also pictured are some stickers I put on the rear window, the symbol in the middle is actually the tattoo that Red XIII has in Final Fantasy 7(Yes, i'm a gamer!) The other sticker is a Takoberry(a strawberry octopus), a character that my old roommates came up with, they run their own print-shop, and make a bunch of custom designs as well as some popular stuff, mostly video game and cartoon stuff. If its not against the rules to advertise, I can post the link to their website here if anyone is interested.

Here's a few pics from over the course of the month so far that I've had the car.

My next modification will probably be to get the windows tinted as well as some new rims. Not to say that the Heritage Rims I have now are all that bad, Personally, I think that it looks like somebody stole the hubcaps off of the car. Anyone have any recommendations for some nice looking rims?

Anyways, that's my car so far, let me know what you think of it!

Ben, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
