I think we should wait for the GEN 6 Camaro before we make comparisons. No one knows what the next gen ZL1.

That being said impressive numbers.

It will be interesting to see if this is true. It will be fast...but will it live up to 707 HP?
Unfortunately the Zl1 is the worlds slowest 580 hp car, the Chally will be the slowest 707 HPcar, but it will almost certainly be quicker than any current Camaro. too late fochevy to do anything with the 5th gen but hopefully the 6th gens lighter weight and better dynamics will turn it around.
Btw. The Chally will still handle like patio furniture.

The Hellcat web page doesn't give any real specifics about the car other than "the most powerful engine ever." Handling equals bigger front brakes, tuning to the hydraulic steering, bigger sway bars, gas shocks. The tires look about as wide as the 225s that were on my 70s Trans Am.

I can't wait for the automotive press to test this car. The hype leaves a lot for them to live up to. The ZL1 and Z/28 were comprehensive designs with much thought put into every component. I'm not seeing that here

No way no how. Maybe with a $15K BS dealer markup, but no one in their right mind pays those.

Im actually shocked to see you say this. You should know better than anyone how dodge rolls. The car will be touching $100k with the dealer mark ups.

Just wait and watch.

Congrats to Dodge for building a kick ass car with huge Horsepower.

Now I'm off to order a 750hp kit for my ZL1 so I can screw with anyone who orders a Hellcat and thinks they'll beat up my ZL. MhooooHaHaHa!

Yes. Then add $15k to that 80 from the stealerships. Few will sell like that. They'll sit until the hype comes down then they'll at msrp.

Congrats Dodge on finally coming out with Challenger that can compete and beat a 3 year old ZL1! Wow! Lmfao .... Really? Dodge would wait until 'the ZL1 and GT500 at the end or has ended! Please..... Dodge had to wait 3 years and move the viper out the way just to compete with a ZL1 and GT500 . And you're bragging on here?????
