Ah yes, the crumbling infrastructure that is being repaired using all that collected cash from our pockets.

First the Autobahn is left lane ONLY
Second it is only in stretches of highway not near populated areas
Third, as I understand it, improper lane usage in and or out of the left lane is about the same as attempted murder. (might be and exaggeration there)

Driving at speeds over 75 will tax most drivers. Maybe not you but most people don't have the reaction time, training or cars required to drive that fast. Sorry, but that is just fact.

Don't make the rules based on the fact that you carry an SCCA license.
I lived in Germany

And again it doesn't change the fact....

The Autobahn is the safest interstate system with regards to fatalities. Or it was the last time I looked. So IF speed truly kills, the Autobahn would be the deadliest road in the world.

I'll say it again.....

And what kills even more than that is people not paying 100% attention to the responsibility that is driving a car.

If people in the states treated driving an automobile, and had the respect for it like they do guns it would be a thousand times safer.

But they don't...they text, talk on the phone, email, put make up on, eat, f with the radio, read the paper, worry about little Johnny in the back seat instead of telling him to sit down and STFU...

Oh, bullshit. Why are you trying to make this a "French speaking people are being picked on" fight? Or if you prefer, je pense que vous ętes un artiste de connerie. You can't be both smart and dumb, so pick one.

You and he both understand and write English perfectly well enough to join in the conversation and he made his points perfectly clear in the post I quoted. The only thing "convenient" about ignoring post #58 was that it was less filled with nonsense than the one I did quote. I quoted the post I wanted to address; the quotes are from two different people, unless you're using multiple accounts here. Try letting people speak for themselves instead of picking fights online.

So live with it, but don't try your "somebody that can speak the language betta" merde de vache avec moi, d'accord? Bien. Bonne nuit mec.

I saw on Modern Marvels where Germans couldn't understand why we needed cup holders because you should be focused on driving only. Of course, my cup holders are useless anyway so I guess it's irrelevant.

Well, at the very least I finally coaxed you to requote it, so I guess I'll now bugger off to the appropriate cam grind/dyno sheet thread of the forum, whilst I try to make an informed decision.

Taa taa!

I could never figure out cupholders either so I'm with the Germans here.

My '70 Buick has a feature, on the inside of the glove box door, that I understand:

two circular indents about 1/16" deep. They are for fast food beverage cups. They aren't cupholders, they are just places to put your cups while eating at a drive-in burger joint: you know, you're parked, eating. The glove box door is a little tray when opened and the indents don't allow the cups to slide off when you're parked on a slight incline.

You stop, eat, clean up, and drive away. Seems pretty easy.

My Pontiac Solstice GXP had three cupholders. It was a two-seat car. Who the F was the third cupholder for??

But as anyone can plainly see, I did in fact never quote it in the first place.

LOL

Post it! You quoted my original, while the edit version is in my post

Post them for the world to see my "ninja edit" and then show the world where I ever quoted your post 58

I edited my post because I saw that I had typed it up as if you had made the comments I commented on in red, and you never made them. Dude.

I'll do it for you:

The edit:

So you tell me: where's your post #58? Point it out, show everyone I'm a liar.

As I suggested the penalties, or so I'm told, are far more severe for this lack of attentiveness that does not exist here.

People here would just hire a lawyer and get the charges dismissed or reduced no matter if they were guilty or not.
