They got a 12.7@116mph with a 505hp,3800lbs,305 race tired camaro yet got a 12.9@114mph with a 470hp,4200lbs,255 street tired challenger.

Only 2 tenths and 2mph advantage with that?? The weight alone should be 4 tenths!

That hellcat computer will be locked up tighter than Fort Knox. 707 is all you get. I can be about $10k cheaper (if price is at $80k, like the rumors are saying), with a convertible, and over 700 at the wheels.

If GM does what they did with the LS9 to LSA, I wouldn't expect more than 600 HP. If GM realizes they can't cut the legs out from the Camaro to protect the Corvette, it may get more.

Computer lockdown on the 2011+ Challenger lasted about year, so if I was in the market for the hellcat I would not hold back on getting it because of that. With 707 hp not sure I would mod it till I was over warranty anyway.
