Patiently(!) Waiting

Sitting here waiting on a 2014 2LT convertible and finding lots of useful information here on Camaro5, so I decided to join and contribute.

Currently have a 1994 GMC Sierra, a 2004 Malibu Maxx, and a 2008 Saturn Sky. We were thinking about replacing the Malibu with an Equinox or Traverse, but after looking and driving both we decided to replace the Sky with a Camaro convertible! Only trouble is, I don't think I can part with the Sky, so I'm going to have to figure out where to park four vehicles. Looks like I'll be getting a cover for the Sky and keeping it outside with the truck.

The Sky is fun, but not a traveling car; looking forward to making trips in the Camaro, that's for sure.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks to all for the very fine welcomes! Our order did not make the end of production cut-off for 2014s, so the dealer has been hard at work finding something acceptable not too far away. They found one today and are going to go get it tomorrow. It will have to sit here until the key issue is resolved, but at least it will be close, and we will be able to take advantage of all the incentives that expire at the end of June, including the military discount. We started out with a crystal red 2LT convertible with gray leather and are ending up with yellow with black leather, rally stripes, and bright aluminum wheels. W00t! (The change to yellow and black was my idea and the stripes and wheels are just what was available, and should look really nice.)

Welcome! I traded in my Solstice (Pontiac's version of the Sky) for my Camaro. I loved the little roadster... but it lacked space to put ANYTHING. I just got a text from the dealer where I traded it in today and they said they got $16K for it in a sale today. Bye bye!

Welcome to this forum.
Here's some memories of my Solstice:

Welcome to the Camaro5 family. I think once people jump in a Camaro they don't regret trading in. I had a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G that I traded for mine, I had my doubts for a while until I began modding. I miss the car but don't regret the trade. Name: image.jpg

Just a quick snap taken on a check-out cruise yesterday. 2LT, bright yellow, black leather, automatic, bright aluminum wheels, and rally stripes.

EDIT: I should clarify, that wasn't a "test drive" that was the "real thing". This Camaro is HOME! (Note my new signature picture.)
